The Felt Estate and Shore Acres
A beautiful gem in Laketown Township, the Felt Estate – with its 25-room mansion, round water garden, and surrounding parkland – is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The award-winning renovation of the mansion and grounds receives accolades from brides and grooms, corporate administration, historical societies, government officials and more. Given the editor’s choice award for Historic Event Venue in 2011, the Felt Mansion combines modern amenities in a historic setting. Available for rental or for private tours.

Register Your Interest for the Laketown Community Solar Garden
The Felt Estate serves as the host of the Laketown Community Solar Garden. This 100 kW solar array provides enough electricity to power Felt Mansion, and is offering residents and small businesses of Laketown, and the surrounding community, an opportunity to own solar, even if they rent, have too much shade or find rooftop solar too costly.
To learn more about this project and how you can participate in the solar garden, visit myvirtualsolar.com/laketown and complete the accompanying “Participant Application”.
